Michelin Tires
will putting new michelin tires on my toyota avalon xls help when driving in bad weather?

i have used tires on now and have trouble when roads are wet..rain sleet snow.

Becky, Michelin makes at least 50 different tires. Which exact Michelin tire and size are you thinking about buying? Edit your question with the above information. Or go to tirerack.com, Michelin tires and pick out the particular *model of tire you’re intrested in. Up will click a picture of that particular tire. Open the word *SURVEY. Comapare the tire tests done on the tire you picked out. Look also at Pirelli, Yokohama, Kumho and Continental tires. A lot of these are rated better in rain, slop and snow than Michelin for a whale of a lot less money.

What tires are on your car now? I’m going to take a wild guess and say “terrible” Bridgestone tires.
I struggled with awful hydroplaning snow skidding Bridgestone RE-92’s on our new Camry a few years back. Thank goodness they’re history! I replaced them with Yokohama TRZ’s and the car is driveable again!
